Olivier suggérait l’appellation non-controllée de «Fobo» (pour Faux-bohémiens) pour décrire la population du Mile-End. Selon le Urban Dictionary, ça voudrait plutôt dire ceci:
to fuck our brains out
guy and girl horny as hell plugging all night
someone who is a “fag” and a “hobo”
that guy is such a fobo
Apparamment, il faut plutôt parler de Foho, mais la définition 2 pourrait porter à confusion… Quelqu’un peut valider?
Attend là, fobo a beaucoup plus de sens, non? C’est quoi ce foutu de dictionnaire… En passant, merci pour ce crédit à Olivier, ça lui fera grand plaisir… ;-)
Tu veux pas plus parler de “boho chic”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boho-chic ou de “bobo”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourgeois_bohemian? Le deuxième fit pas selon moi parce que ça vise plus riche et plus vieux que dans le Mileend mais le look match pas mal je pense.

Fobo has been in circulation as “faux-bohemian” for some time, having originated in NYC’s hipster circles a couple of years ago to describe trust-fund kids slumming it. Also see: Trustafarian.
Faux-bohemian neighborhoods are ’sort of edgy’ but in the safe and prepackaged way that kids visiting from Japan love. If there’s a trendy café, art museum and rock venue somewhere close, expect real estate values to rise.

Oui, je suis tellement 2004!! Mais c’est pas grave… J’aime bien fobo, comme fohawk. Je trouve que le «fo» est essentiel dans l’abbréviation.
